For Sun-city Club, A colonial character seemed ideal to the designers and the clients which fits into “Sanskari Nagari”- Vadodara and sort of belongs to it.
The total club area is 5.5 lakh sq.ft., our scope included Landscape Development of entire campus, which comprises of some small architecture structures with interiors, all hardscape, screen walls, water features and all horticultural work.
As one enters the Club the massive Entrance Gate with its brass emblems and laser cut patterns introduces you to the colonial style. The entrance ramp having herring bone pattern with variations done in Yellow Jaisalmer leads to the Entrance water feature having stepped platforms and ends at the reception of the Clubhouse. The reception overlooks a reflecting water body with Cut-Glass bowls arranged in symmetric geometry.
Conscious attempt is being made to create spatial experiences to cater to varied moods and requirements of individuals. Whereas the colorful courtyard of Sports Complex pep ups your energy levels, the 12,500 sqft of dedicated Children’s play area with a Toddler gazebo gives infinite joy, a Macchan that gives achievable challenge to climb for kids, a 150 ft long Swimming pool with its Deck and a Sunken bar, accompanied with a Food Court and Sitting Gazebo makes it a ideal zones for all age groups to be together as a family and exploit fun to fullest. All Rest Rooms in the club have being designed as garden courtyards, to give a pleasant garden experience.
