Karmavir Ghatge, founder of Karmavir Ghatge and Associates (established in 2001-02) in Vadodara is an Architect and a Landscape Architect. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B. Arch) from College of Architecture, Kolhapur in 1996-97 and then went on to accomplish his masters in Landscape Architecture from CEPT, Ahmedabad in 1998-99; practiced in Pune for a couple of years before returning back to Vadodara to start KGA in 2002.
Since its inception, KGA has concentrated on using an Ecological Approach in designs - be it biological up-gradation process, minimalistic intervention in Natural Eco-System, conservation of natural resources or usage of simplistic natural materials in design. Promoting of Indian crafts and craftsmen in our design is of utmost importance in our designs. Our practices shift from landscape architecture to architecture – to Interior Design – to Product Design.

KGA is a multi-disciplinary organization having Landscape Architects, Architects, Interior designers and Engineers, attempting to address varied issues of environmental planning, master planning development, Architecture & Interior Design and Environmental Art. The firm also collaborates with various other consultants/ artists to give an edge to a Project. KGA has been around for more than a decade and has successfully completed many projects ranging from Master plan of institutes to small scale interior projects..
