A barren piece of land of 2.5 lakh sq.ft. was designed as a wedding party plot on the theme of a “farm house” with emphasis on the outdoor experience. A ceremonial walkway traverses through a group of lawn mounds and leading to the linear lawns. A grove of exotic palms divide the wedding and dining space of the area. The civil footprint is kept to a bare minimum by creating semi open structures with the use of landscaped courtyards. To add to the touch of a farm ambience, 500 tons of boulders weighing from 2/3 tons to 20/25 tons were used. The party plot became the first of its kind in Vadodara to have a parking space of 1.5 lakh sq.ft. for 350 cars inside the party plot boundary.
