Situated in the centre of Upavan green housing scheme in Chikodhra, outskirts of Vadodara, the idea was to explore the possibilities of differentiating the club house from the housing units in terms of its functionality and henceforth the form. The club house in its essence has an informal and playful appeal created by 4” dia punctures in the wall fitted with colored glass, allowing coloured sunlight to penetrate. Thus, various patterns with colored light are created inside which complements its purpose. A number of open and semi open spaces like pergola sittings with climbers on top, gazebos etc were created.
